WHO I AM
Hi friends! I’m Elle and I like to make stuff.
I’m married to Kenny (The Best Guy Ever™). We’re from Buffalo, New York, but we currently live in Atlanta, Georgia (and we really miss Buffalo pizza). We’re former youth pastors, current youth ministry volunteers, and the founders of Stuff You Can Use, a youth ministry resource site dedicated to helping youth workers be more awesome.
WHAT I DO
Here’s what I’m up to . . .
STUFF YOU CAN USE
Kenny and I founded Stuff You Can Use in 2011 as a way to help serve the youth ministry community with some helpful ideas and tools, like games, articles, books, podcasts, resources, video courses, technology, community, and coaching. And there’s lots more on the way!
SPEAKING & HOSTING
Throughout the year, you can usually find me communicating or hosting at a handful of conferences and events for youth workers, volunteers, or parents. If you’re interested, you can find more information right here.
Before we knew we wanted to do ministry as our real jobs, Kenny and I both volunteered in our church as small group leaders. Now we volunteer as small group leader coaches, caring for small group leaders who are investing in students of their own. And sometimes we serve as onstage hosts, video personalities, and a host home for youth ministry retreat weekends, too.
I was a part of the Orange team from 2013 – 2017. While I was there, I led the middle school age group strategy, launched the organization’s first middle school curriculum and middle school team, helped architect and write content for a product called Weekly, and co-authored the book Creating a Lead Small Culture.
